The main building consists of ground floor, first floor, the attic (teracce on the top of the building) and an ground floor building in the yard.

The main pedestrian entrance is from the Grande Forni street on the north, just a few minutes walk from the main square, the driveway from a secondary road is on the south side of the garden. Several town squares are nearby-main square with Venetian-gothic, renaissance and baroque palaces, which house the Town Hall and the Italian Community, a square with St. Blaz cathedral and the highest bell tower in Istria, and a square with the market and the fish market, as well as several coffee shops, shops, sports venues, a school and a kindergarten.
